There is a challenge to replicate what the eye sees in it’s true form.
You aren’t present to see what I see; How light kisses your skin to create the most flattering and flawless skin-tone; To smell the sweet scent of freesia in her blush and white bouquet. To hear the hum of laughter and clank of glasses at the reception dinner as friends and family share in the joy of the couple.
The soft breeze laps up the silk chiffon fabric of her dress and weaves around touching all the leaves of the trees and they glimmer like glitter while lifting her perfume to the air.
It is difficult to fill each image frame in a way that shows the colour, mood and emotion of your story working together as a whole to tell it best, in a way that can be framed as a watercolour painting on your wall.
My job is to capture all that and more; where your imagination fills in the gaps.
I’m a light weaver, a story-teller, a hand-crafting digital editor, an artist.
My heart resides in capturing the beauty of nature, moments, light and love.
At age 13 I was sent to boarding school; being taught by far the best Painting & Design teacher in the country, I took an interest in all things digitally. I was awarded the Gawn Cup in 2008 - First in Visual Arts Design. I then pursued graphic design papers at University to endorse my degree achieving highly with these.
There is nothing more special than bringing people together and being present with them for their most sacred of days and moments.
I wouldn’t have done this without my special girl Lilly Rose. She is such an inspiration to me in pursuing my photography and encouraging me to develop it further, so I decided to dedicate my works to her and Lily&Rose Photography (the floral version) was born.

Capturing that split second look that you shared while giggling under the trees with your loved ones on an outdoor shoot. The gorgeous ‘rubber-bands’ of your newborns arms, combined with a peeping sleep smile. Especially, that look of love, happiness and devotion you give your partner on first sight of your wedding day.
